Which printers work with Direct Dine?
The printers we support and the easiest way to connect each one.
You can keep the printer you already have in most cases.
Network printers (best)
These plug into your router and collect orders from Direct Dine by themselves, so they print even if no screen is switched on.
- Epson with ePOS: TM-m30II, TM-m30III, TM-m50, TM-T88VI, TM-T88VII, and the TM-i and TM-U220-i kitchen models. See Connecting an Epson printer.
- Star Micronics with CloudPRNT: mC-Print3, mC-Print2, TSP100IV, TSP650II, and SP700 kitchen printers with a CloudPRNT interface. See Connecting a Star printer.
Printers plugged into a computer
- Any USB receipt printer with a Windows or Mac driver. See USB receipt printers.
- Zebra label printers for bag labels or label tickets. See Zebra label printers.
Buying new? An Epson TM-m30III or Star mC-Print3 with a network port is a safe choice: both cost around £200–£300 and connect without a PC.
Older Epson printers without ePOS (such as a plain TM-T20 with USB only) work through a PC instead.
