Using the kitchen screen

Where new orders appear, how the alarm works, and moving orders along.

Open Kitchen screen on a tablet, laptop or PC in your kitchen and leave it open. New orders appear in New Tickets the moment they're placed.

Turn the alarm on

Browsers only allow sound after someone has touched the page. When you open the kitchen screen, tap the yellow Tap here to turn on the new-order alarm bar once. The alarm then rings every few seconds until every new order has been accepted.

Moving an order along

  1. 1Accept & Start Prep when you've seen it. The alarm stops.
  2. 2Mark Ready on the food and drinks sections as they're done.
  3. 3Bagged & Ready for Collection (or out for delivery) when it leaves the kitchen.

Tips

  • The screen stays awake while the kitchen screen is open on most tablets and laptops.
  • Allergy orders show a red warning box. Read it before cooking.
  • Use the station buttons to show only food (kitchen) or only drinks (bar).
  • Turn on missed-order alerts so you get a text if an order is ever left waiting.
