Importing your menu from a photo

Photograph your paper menu and we'll type it in for you to check.

On Dishes, press Import from a photo.

  1. 1Take a photo of each page of your paper menu, or upload a PDF. Up to 6 files at a time.
  2. 2Press Read my menu. It takes about a minute.
  3. 3Check every dish and price. Fix anything that's wrong and remove anything you don't want.
  4. 4Press Add to my menu.
  5. 5Then open each dish and tick its allergens. We deliberately don't guess these.

Flat, well-lit photos without shadows or glare read best. If a long menu is too much in one go, import a few pages at a time.

Sizes printed on your menu (like 10" £8 / 12" £10) are turned into a size choice automatically.
