Getting set up in an evening

Most takeaways are ready to take orders the same evening. Your dashboard's Overview page has a checklist that ticks itself off as you go.

The steps

1. 1Add your dishes. Go to Dishes. Type them in, or use Import from a photo to read your paper menu. See Importing your menu.
2. 2Set your opening hours in Hours & alerts, so your site only takes orders when you're open.
3. 3Check your delivery area and fees in Ordering site. Delivery prices are worked out from the customer's postcode.
4. 4Add your logo and a banner photo in Look & photos, and pick the style closest to your food.
5. 5Connect a printer if you want paper tickets. See Printers.
6. 6Place a test order on your own site, and check it appears on the Kitchen screen.
7. 7Share your link. Put it on Google, Instagram, Facebook and your leaflets. See Getting found on Google.
