DirectDine

Using your own web address

Point a domain like orders.yourtakeaway.co.uk at your Direct Dine site (Pro plan).

On the Pro plan you can use a web address you already own. We handle the security certificate (the padlock) for you.

Connect it

  1. 1In Ordering site, find Custom Domain (Own) and type the address you want to use, such as orders.yourtakeaway.co.uk.
  2. 2Sign in to wherever you bought the domain (GoDaddy, 123 Reg, IONOS, Namecheap and so on) and open its DNS settings.
  3. 3Add a CNAME record. Use the name and value shown on the Ordering site page.
  4. 4Back in Direct Dine, press Verify DNS Connection. DNS changes usually work within an hour but can take up to a day.

Using the bare domain (yourtakeaway.co.uk, without "orders.")? Some providers don't allow a CNAME there. Use the A record shown on the same page instead.

Your yourname.directdine.co.uk address keeps working too.

Still stuck? Contact support and tell us your venue name and what you're seeing.
